Que Ocupação É a Sua

What Occupation Is Your?
The word came from God and said to Jonah, This is what God said
Go to the great city called Nineveh
However, cry out against her
But he feared the brave men
He suddenly fled on another ship
But a strong wind persisted
It was God who breathed from the sky
They were all terrified
When someone, frightened, asked him this
What's your occupation, young man, where do you come from?
What is your country, and what people are you from?
And Jonah said to him: Friend, I am a Hebrew
I'm running away because I'm afraid, but I fear God
To the people I now say: There is no need to cry out anymore
Throw me into the water and the sea will calm down!
But a large fish soon swallowed him up
It was a divine order that God commanded
And it stayed in the belly of the fish for three days
But he prayed from the womb
And the sentient fish on the beach threw it out
And he went to proclaim the word to the people of that place
And they all heard what Jonah preached
Even the great king humbled himself before God
What's your occupation, young man, where do you come from?
What is your country, and what people are you from?
And Jonah said to him: Friend, I am a Hebrew
I'm running away because I'm afraid, but I fear God
To the people I now say: There is no need to cry out anymore
Throw me into the water and the sea will calm down!
