Coração Cruel

When Moses asked, Joshua and Caleb went ahead
God had promised a place for those people
Unfortunately, sin caused God to change his plans
And the people walked instead of going, they returned, passing along the same road
He didn't recognize anything, and it was 40 years late

Joshua went to spy out that promised land, and upon returning, he brought it with him
A well-known fruit was a bunch of grapes, but it cannot grow on its own
Looking up at the sky, he said: People of Israel
There is milk and honey there, take away the cruel heart
And ask Caleb

Israel revolted and said this is not right
He took us out of Egypt, only to die in this desert
Women and children are already at risk
Neither Moses nor Aaron can deliver us
Let's raise a captain, who will lift us off this ground
And take us to Egypt

Israel asked for forgiveness, but the Lord did not forgive
And all that remains for your reward is death
One does not trifle with power, which exists in the highest realms
