I've already traveled almost the entire world
Spending more money and still not succeeding
The happiness I longed for
I've even lost the hope I had
I walked the land, I sailed the seas
I also tried to find it in the air
I was surprised when I searched
And I didn't find it even inside the homes
Ah
So I stopped!
But a close friend
He looked at me
And he said: Come here
I will show you the truth
And you will find happiness
He spoke of a lasting peace
That which we feel in laughter or in pain
He spoke of a love that is truly perfect
Without prejudice based on race or color
At that moment I felt happy
I looked at him and said this
I searched for happiness far away
And she was very close to me
