With my broken heart I searched for love
In those places where I thought it was best
And all I managed to get was pain
And a series of experiences in which I ended up worse

Already on my knees because of the wounds
And thinking that I was dying
My Lord Jesus appears
Filling my life with His light

You are what my heart was looking for
Love without words
A promise between God and me
You are sublime peace that reaches the soul
Taking away the hatred and leaving the calm
Because in you is salvation

My life will no longer be what it was before
As fears come
With my God I will overcome them
Prepared at all times I will be
Because I know I must be ready for when He returns

My knees no longer bend from pain
But from satisfaction to worship the King of Kings
To the holy one who restored me
