Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace
Where there is hatred
Let me bring love
Where there are offenses
Let me bring forgiveness
Where there is discord
Let me bring unity
Where there are doubts
Let me bring faith

Where there is error
Let me bring truth
Where there is despair
Let me bring hope
Where there is sadness
Let me bring joy
Where there is darkness
Let me bring light

Oh Master, make me seek more
To console than to be consoled
To understand than to be understood
To love than to be loved
For it is in giving that one receives
It is in forgiving that one is forgiven
And it is in dying that one lives for eternal life.
