El origen de la violencia

The Origin of Violence

I don't know if I came from the sky
or from beneath the earth,
I also don't know how I got caught up in your war,
they can give me whatever they want in exchange for my truth,
violence is the lie and they steal my identity.

Their violence wears masks even on your heart
whatever caresses you then turns into your master,
if you deny freedom to our sublime consciousness,
whether you like it or not, violence is born.

I was taught through blows without explanation,
but I was never taught, I didn't learn what forgiveness is,
now you're in front of me and though you never expected it,
we'll gouge out your eyes, we're crows that you raised.

Nuclear rain isn't worse, this hellish mental breeze,
know well that there are harsh and very gentle ways to kill,
but even if the world is yours, I'll always be mine,
if your education shapes the kids, I proudly raise them wrong.

If I'm poor and marginalized,
who's the violent one?,
if I'm Indian and they chase me, what
do you think I feel?,
I'm a different man and I don't seek your shaping,
I'm a friend of chaos,
because your order is violent.

If your state is order, I want chaos to come
and I don't want power, but I don't want you to have it either,
I bring equality, where you bring ambition,
and if you bring more misery,
I'll bring more subversion.
