I had a problem that was very hard to solve in a
Difficult time of my life
I was between a rock and a hard place
And putting up with my family's opinion

I didn't want to have a normal life
I didn't like office hours
My rebellious spirit scoffed
At having money, luxury and comfort

And I had a revelation
I know what I want in this life
I will follow my vocation
It will be the music, my food and my shelter

I don't want to marry off
I want to play guitar all day long
And have people fall in love with my voice
