QUE ME LLEVE A MÍ
LOCURA POÉTICA
Take Me Away
Take me away
Nobody gave a damn about us
We were two shadows that learned to be one
And here we are, 44 years of pulse
Nobody bet anything on us
We were two strangers embracing the storm
And here we are, against the clock, against the world
You with your calm, me with my slow rage
You look at me and save me from my own noise
You hold me up when I want to throw it all to hell
I don’t know what the hell you saw in me
But I cling to that, like it’s my last job
Sometimes I don’t understand why you stay by my side
When my steps stumble with doubts and noise
You take my hand like someone guarding a legacy
And the world calms down when I hear your heartbeat
You hold words that heal the little things
You taught me to be brave in the calm of the day
I give you verses, you give me certainty
And that’s how we keep going in this shared life
There’s no lesson, no story that teaches me to be without you
That’s what scares me the most
When the day comes that one of us has to leave
Fuck, let it be me, I don’t want to see you go
I’m a blacksmith of pain and endurance
But I break if I imagine your absence
There’s no master in pain that can handle
The curse of losing the eyes where I still find strength
Your words always know where to place the cracks
You teach me that even in defeat there’s a secret victory
I get strong pretending it doesn’t hurt
But if you go, love
Everything dies for me
I’m no saint or hero of anything
But with you, I’ve learned what little matters
The rest, I’m a master of pain but I’d never learn to leave you
And if some bastard God forces me
I close my eyes, let it be me
Damn it, let it be me!
