A decree won't stop my prayer

They can throw me in the den, they can pressure me
But nothing interrupts my prayer
They can spread rumors, have meetings
But nothing interrupts my communion
God goes ahead of me, shuts the lion's mouth

The night will pass, the day will come
The next day, early, I will worship my God

He is the God of water, God of fire
God of trials, God of blessings
He is the God who heals, God who kills
