On the petal of each flower that opens
I read that God is love
The wind that roars or blows gently
Insistently repeats that God is love
The Sun when it's day and the moon at night
Tell us that God is love
It's easy to notice that God's works
Are all filled with love

How great love our God has given us
He made us His children
For as someone who lived in sin
Could expect this grace from God

And this love was so intense
That He gave His own son
Gave us the right to a better life
And showed us the way to heaven

When I hear the birds singing
I feel that God is love
The foam of the waves that come and go
Insists on reminding us that God is Love
