Brilhar Por Ti

Sometimes it seems like being a Christian
It's not easy in the darkness
Even more so if I think it's not my light
But the union with God that the brightness produces

And sometimes it seems difficult to understand
That Christians are examples even without wanting to be
And that's why I need to pray
So that God may enlighten me and so I can shine

Lord I want to shine for You
When the world goes out
I want that through my life
Someone can see you
Make it so that, even without words
I speak of Your love
I want to shine for You
Shine wherever you go

Sometimes I fear I will fail
Because I know I made mistakes and I continue to make mistakes
But if my light seems to be extinguished
My God gives me strength to continue

No matter how hard I try
I can only win if He helps me
And that's when I realize, my effort is in vain
And what I must do is hold Your hand

Lord I want to shine for You

Make it so that, even without words
I speak of Your love

And when my light seems to waver
I just need to join That light that makes everyone shine
