I have learned from everything I went through
I have fallen a thousand times and got up
I learned to value the people who
are alive and not to love them when they are gone.

I have had in my hands the women who
I almost always wanted to be in my bed
I have tasted the honey of many of them
and of the many I had, I am alone again.

And this loneliness kills me but thinking about it
I believe it's better to be alone again
and not have to think about those I loved
because I know they will never come back to me.

For many I promised not to misbehave anymore
I left behind friends, whiskey, and chance,
so many times I fell in love
but few are the ones who knew how to love me.
