He learned to drink, grew his hair
And decided to work (no!)
She graduated in the same month
He passed his college exam

And they celebrated together
And also argued many times after that
And everyone says he completes her
And vice versa, like beans and rice

They built a house about two years ago
More or less when the twins came along
They worked hard, kept strong
Through the toughest times they had

Eduardo and Monica moved back to Brasília
And our friendship brings nostalgia in the summer
But this vacation they won't travel
Because Eduardo's son has to retake his exams
