In the Eye of the Hurricane
When we cry out and God answers
In our hearts the flame ignites
We even throw a party for the Lord
We praise, laugh, we adore
And what was sad is gone
And the desert finally passed
Our God then proves faithful
He listens to us from Heaven
Answers our prayer
Pours His favor upon us
Revealing His love in us
Worthy of worship is He
But when God's silence
Is all we have, what to do at that moment?
Do we praise and adore
Or lament and cry? What is our reaction?
I want to see worship in the eye of the hurricane!
I want to see worship in the valley, in prison!
I want to see worship in the storm, in pain!
This is how God knows the true worshiper!
