Einsamkeit

I write my own story
And only live on the side
I am the only one who notices me
And all the voices that speak to me
Are just the echoes of my longing
Powerless I face loneliness
And powerlessly I show it my face

Falling apart into a thousand pieces
I crawl in a thousand directions
And don't hold your hand tight enough
Escaped into false dreams
Sat on occupied seats
I sought the glory of togetherness
And found only the ridiculous loneliness
