I was wondering yesterday if there's a way
to weave trails of the sea
and tie together pieces of our hearts
and turn them into lunar verbs.

I braided silver through the night
and embroidered your name in filigree
with these hands, this craftsman
makes you a gift with what’s left.

Is the little I found
all that’s left in the whole wide world?
drops of moon: I want more!
