Every Sunday she goes to church
and she sits in the first pew,
when the priest says the mass,
a light shines on her cheeks.
No one imagines that for a long time,
unintentionally she loves him in silence,
no one imagines that she is suffering,
seeing her secret love as impossible.
She, lives in love, she's dying for the one who knows nothing.
She, everything she feels she wants to shout it out but she doesn't dare.

Whenever people leave mass,
she stays praying, not in a hurry,
full of tenderness and with prudence,
she looks at him without him noticing.
Then she goes to the confessional,
even though her soul is free from sin,
but this way she is happy, even if just for a while,
being close to her beloved.
