Green grass grew in the shade of a tree
watered by the pain of a tear from god
child of those winds that blew in the past
came to heal sadness and resignation
Men of dark skin knew its stem
discovered allies that the earth gave them
children of those winds that blew in the past
were no longer the same when the smoke arrived

The wounds that torment my years heal
My energies grow when I seek power
there is no sadness in the life of the wise
Fear always comes but knowledge remains

The race of men will disappear
if they fight among themselves or do not listen to the voice
the voice of those winds that blew back then
the grass always grows near the tree of god
