Miracles
I live my life like it's the very last day
I always wake up feeling joyful
A hot coffee on a cold night
A kiss for mama while she's still asleep
Don't wake up, my love, keep on dreaming (dreaming)
Every morning when I rise, I realize how blessed I am
I go through life doing my thing
Blazing trails and healing wounds
Planting seeds along the edges
Of every heart that's listening to me (listening)
What more miracles do I need
Than just breathing?
What more miracles could I ask for, my love
Than feeling your hand in mine?
I keep walking in the direction
That my heart is telling me to follow
I use my intuition as my compass
Each day, my mission becomes more clear
Sometimes confusion pays a visit
But never fades the will
To want to make it happen (make it happen)
Each day the connection grows stronger
With the One who sends me blessings
I light a candle, I say a prayer
I ask for my life and for those I love
For good health, for God's protection
Because at home, there's a love waiting for me (waiting)
Sometimes life gets tough
You have to steer the boat in the dark
Sometimes I see everything in black and white
The landscape isn't always painted in color
There are wounds not even time can heal
But they've made me stronger
So many chase the peak of the mountain
Without knowing how cold it gets up there
I learned to value the night
I became friends with someone called the Moon
Who reminds me not to forget
That life is a treasure
To accept myself, mistakes and all
My fears, my doubts, but still walk tall
And walk with confidence
What more miracles do I need
Than just breathing?
What more miracles could I ask for, my love
Than feeling your hand in mine?
I keep walking in the direction
That my heart is telling me to follow
I use my intuition as my compass
Each day, my mission becomes more clear
Sometimes confusion pays a visit
But never fades the will
To want to make it happen (make it happen)
Each day the connection grows stronger
With the One who sends me blessings
I light a candle, I say a prayer
I ask for my life and for those I love
For good health, for God's protection
Because at home, there's a love waiting for me (waiting)
