It only costs to dream because, when you're born poor
A little bread and coffee and working twice as hard

But, truth is, none of them have been there
Grinding since I was fourteen
I was destined for this, I never forced it

Nobody wants to lend a hand in the process
They’d rather sink you and make an example of that

This is step by step, but I’m making progress

That’s why I’m in love with my process

I miss where I grew up every summer
I hope to return and it’s not far off
To my family, they know I love them
