Onda dos Vendavais

With my boat lost in the waves of the gales
There was a distant voice calling me from the dock
The tide so furious because the wind was too much
And the great darkness hindered vision
And wouldn't leave me in peace

Soon I realized in the drizzle
Someone rowing sitting in the bow
To conquer the sea
I am not capable
But dear Jesus is always with me and takes me to the dock

With my boat lost among those gales
I thought to myself this storm was too much
Suddenly came the breeze calming my sorrows
And I could see the land and the voice of who it was
Calling me at the dock

If your boat is lost in the fury of the sea
And the tide of disappointment doesn't let you sail
Raise your white flag, symbol of peace
And your boat won't stray
Because a guiding star leads you to the dock

And soon you notice in the drizzle
Someone rowing sitting in the bow
To conquer the sea no one is capable
But fortunately Christ is present and takes us to the dock
