Flores de Primavera

Spring Flowers
There's one hour left until the party ends
And I'm the only one still at the table
Between the leftovers and the half-filled glasses there I am, oh-oh
My two friends vomiting in the bathroom
The other swore love to a stranger
And that's the first night of the year
What could be worse?
And sadness obscures my dress
That I buy myself with the lost time
In a shitty job I never wanted
I have everything and nothing (nothing feels mine)
What's wrong with being part of the disappointed club?
If no one cares too much about this dance of the unfortunate
Whatever happens tonight I'm going to raise the flag
I tell everyone, no matter who it hurts
We are not all spring flowers
Lei-re-le, lei-le
Lei-re-le, lei-le
Lei-re-le, lei-le
We are not all spring flowers
Life belongs to those who dance it barefoot
They prefer grass to a pair of shoes
Not everything blooms at the same time
There are flowers growing in water and others in cement
I still remember the day I told myself I was too big
My damn imposter syndrome
I could do it all and I thought I couldn't
What's wrong with being part of the disappointed club?
Nobody cares too much about this dance of the unfortunate
Whatever happens tonight I'm going to raise the flag
I tell everyone, no matter who it hurts
We are not all spring flowers
Winter flowers, and flowers in vases
Little purple flowers, fields full of sunflowers
That bloom in heaps and wait for the rain
And other brave women in the desert growing alone with the Moon
Aromatic, wild, they float in the tide
And others in the middle of the asphalt that make their way wherever they can
Flowers in the middle of the cemetery for him to go to a better place
And welcome flowers for the one who just arrived
What's wrong with being part of the disappointed club?
If no one cares too much about this dance of the unfortunate
Whatever happens tonight I'm going to raise the flag
I tell everyone, no matter who it hurts
We are not all spring flowers
