El Pequeño Tomi
Juli Martins
Little Tomi
Little Tomi was a junkie
But not anymore
'Cause his uncle killed him
He shot him dead, shot him dead
Little Tomi, his uncle killed him
Little Tomi was a restless kid
His mom would say: Don't cross the hood
But he wouldn't listen, he was stubborn
Smoked everything, drank like a champ
The teachers said: That kid's messed up
The neighbors talked all around the block
But Uncle Ricardo, a stand-up guy
Had a way to make him change his mind
Little Tomi was a junkie
But not anymore
'Cause his uncle killed him
He shot him dead, shot him dead
Little Tomi, his uncle killed him
Ricardo tried to give him good advice
He said: That powder ain't powdered sugar
Tomi laughed and said: Dude, chill out
And that's when the uncle pulled out the .45
Little Tomi was a junkie
But not anymore
'Cause his uncle killed him
He shot him dead, shot him dead
Little Tomi, his uncle killed him
Now in the neighborhood they say he was a saint
His picture's on candles and in a golden frame
His uncle smiles, the law cleared him
And Tomi rests without rehab
Little Tomi ain't suffering anymore
