Young Man from the Mountains

A little ranch in the mountains where he was born
The young man I'm gonna sing about
With big dreams of making cash and aiming for a better life
There with the uncles, he started to get close and gained a lot of experience
He never imagined the great things that life would one day give him

Working hard, I came to Texas
Always pushing against the law
I had falls, a thousand stumbles
But I was strong and got back up
All the effort started to pay off
Things began to look really good
I made connections, also friends
And little by little, I rose up

And today, that kid who lived in the mountains
Was able to turn his life around
And now he doesn't struggle for cash
With the Louboutins and a shiny neck
Little by little, I moved ahead
And right now, honestly, no one can stop us

Here’s a shoutout
To my buddy Chirimoyo and my buddy Paquitas
Watch out for the old man, his buddy
Juan Freer

Riding a good horse, a little Spanish one
With a good step for dancing
He’s got a nice belt on tight
The super belt's gotta shine
I’m about friends, not about fights
But I know how to stand my ground
I draw my line that’s all about respect
Watch out for anyone who crosses it

I’m still here in Texas like I was a while back
But now we’re not walking anymore
Back in the H, they’ve seen me too
Always chasing after duty
I’ve shown my friends
That I’m solid and I’m also the law
They know my hand is always there
For anyone who needs it, I’ll lend it out

And today, that kid who lived in the mountains
Was able to turn his life around
And now he doesn't struggle for cash
I know I haven’t introduced the man yet
Here in the crew, he’s my buddy Tony
Always solid and never backed down
