On The Street Where You Lived
Yesterday, I walked down the street where you used to live
Remembering everything, I didn’t notice I was crying for you
And the drops of my longing tears
Soaked the little bench
That once witnessed a great love bloom
And now stands all alone
The silent birds showed the sadness they felt
I must have left quite an impression on the people who saw me there
I wanted to see you—how are you now?
To know if you’re living with someone else
If you no longer remember what happened between us
Are you happy today?
Do you have someone better than me?
You don’t know how much I want to hear your voice
I keep living with these memories
Of those happy times that are now gone
To keep myself from crying, I’ll never walk down that street again
