Orphic Hymn

Shadow enters the earth, and the places it had seen before
Recognizes all, seeking through the fields of the pious
Finds Eurydice and embraces her eagerly in his arms
Here they walk together with joined steps
Now following behind, now leading the way
Orpheus now looks back at his Eurydice safely
