Beyond the Mirror
When I look into my eye beyond the mirror
There's someone looking back and it ain't me
Lives inside my red eye
It's the gaze of my dad who’s already gone
My eye looks like a device
From someone who always watched over me
Just like my eye gives advice
When I look into the eyes of my own child
Life is truly a mission
Death is just an illusion
Only those who lived know
'Cause when the mirror's good
No one ever really dies
Whenever my kid gives me a kiss
I know my dad's love hasn't disappeared
Just by looking in their eyes, I see their wishes
Just like my dad knew mine
But my dad left during the procession
And in the mirror, I cried 'cause it hurt
But seeing my child now, I realize
They are the mirror of the mirror that is me
Life is truly a mission
Death is just an illusion
Only those who lived know
'Cause when the mirror's good
No one ever really dies
Every image reflected in the mirror
Has a thousand faces that time has trapped
Everyone has something repeated
A piece of those who conceived us
My dad's mission has been fulfilled
I will carry out the mission God gave me
If my dad was the mirror in my life
I want to be my child's mirror too
Life is truly a mission
Death is just an illusion
Only those who lived know
'Cause when the mirror's good
No one ever really dies
Life is truly a mission
Death is just an illusion
Only those who lived know
'Cause when the mirror's good
No one ever really dies
My biggest fear is the mirror breaking
My biggest fear is the mirror breaking
My biggest fear is the mirror breaking
My biggest fear is the mirror breaking
My biggest fear is the mirror breaking
My biggest fear is the mirror breaking
My biggest fear is the mirror breaking
My biggest fear is the mirror breaking
My biggest fear is the mirror breaking
My biggest fear is the mirror breaking
My biggest fear is the mirror breaking
My biggest fear is the mirror breaking
