They schemed, planned, plotted, designed
Just because Daniel was close with the Almighty
They watched, searched for something, any flaw
Any mistake, any vice
But they found nothing because Daniel serves a living God
And walked in sincerity with his God

Since they found nothing against Daniel
They made up a law to target the faithful servant
That for 30 days no one could pray to any God
Except to the king
Because they knew Daniel loved to pray and with great malice
They convinced the king to sign
Once decreed, no one could revoke it

But he didn’t care and kept on praying
Facing danger, he kept on kneeling
Threatened, but he was talking to God
Whoever has business with heaven would be causing a stir

Daniel prayed and stirred things up, made a difference and stirred things up
