Finda-se este dia

This day that my Father gave me is over
Evening shadows already cover the skies
Oh! Blessed Jesus, if you are with me
I do not fear the night, I will sleep in peace

With my sins I have saddened you
But I ask your forgiveness, for your sake
I am your little one, deliver me from evil
And in peace I reach natural pleasure

Guard the sailor from the violent sea
And to those who suffer pain, may you comfort them
Extend Your hand to the guilty, Lord
Send your Comforter to the sad and afflicted

For parents and friends, for the holy law
For divine love, I will give you thanks
Oh! Jesus answer my petition
And I sleep safely, without disturbance
