Nobody imagined it, that the king of the world, the Savior
Would be born in a stable in Bethlehem

Everything was so different from what they expected to see
The Savior in a manger instead of strong, was weak

It was like a root in dry ground, like seeing
A shoot scorched by the sun

It was like a flame in the storm, like seeing
Just a drop fall in the desert

Blessed is the one who doesn’t stumble
Who can believe without distraction

Blessed is the one who can receive Him and give the king a home
Inside their heart
And in their heart, give Him a place to stay
