I walk along the tropical path
The night full of stillness
With its perfume of humidity

And in the breeze coming from the sea
You can hear the murmur of a song
A song of love and pity

With her I went
Night after night to the sea
To kiss her fresh mouth of love

And she swore to me
To love me more and more

Those nights by the sea
