How kind a friend is Christ
He carried our pain
And sends us to bring

To Jesus, eternal refuge
Go with faith to expose your trouble!

Do your friends despise you?
Tell Him in prayer
And with His tender love
You will have peace in your heart

Christ is a true friend
He showed us this in deeds
When to take with Him
The guilty one He incarnated

He shed His pure blood
To wash away our stain
Joy in life and in the future
In Him we can attain
