Oh! How Blind I Walked
Oh! How blind I walked and wandered lost
Far, far from my savior!
But from heaven he came down, and shed his blood
To save such a poor sinner
It was on the cross, it was on the cross, where one day I saw
My sin punished in Jesus
It was there, by faith, that my eyes opened
And now I rejoice in his light
I heard of this unmatched grace
That brought our Jesus from heaven
But I made myself deaf, I did not want to convert
To the Lord who died on the cross for me
But one day I felt my sins, and saw
The sword of the law over me
Hastily I fled
I hid in Jesus
And found safe shelter in him
