Nothing falls from the sky
Nor will it fall
Everything that is mine
I went to seek
I learned to live
And to walk
Among the good and the bad
And to guard myself

I keep tormenting myself
With my patches
To remind myself
That there are disagreements coming
That I have to face

This is what feeds me
Sustains me
Makes me love
In these confines of the world
