Here come the times of rain
The sky is getting cloudy
Smells like wet dirt
It's raining in the distance
The shadows are starting to fall
From the clouds onto the hills

You can see the lightning flash
The thunder's rolling in hard

I can see myself on my horse
Checking out the fields

How beautiful the rain looks

As they turn green

They say the downpours
Are best in May
'Cause they soak the ground
And make the plains turn green
And with rain for two or three days
There'll be grass all year long

My truck looks great
All covered in mud
