I was meditating for a while
And I reached a conclusion
Everything in this life is fleeting
But Your word is not

And I have failed so many times
I thought it was the end
And I, who once felt lost
Only found myself in You

I understood that I owe You everything
Yet, You ask nothing from me
You know what the future holds for me
And You give my soul relief

I realized that fruit is not harvested
From a tree that hasn't been wounded
And that growth takes time
And pleasure lies in the journey

And I learned everything from the Lord
Even if sometimes through pain
Never once did You question me
But You did not let me perish

And You said: My child, you cannot give up
Look at the path, you've made it this far
Hold on a little longer for the time is near
Continue with this strength, set an end to this fear
