The burning flame
Let's remember together that it was yesterday
when we watched each other grow
and fought to overcome
in the homeland that saw us born
Even if days go by,
even if years go by,
the burning flame
will not go out.
This story hurts the heart,
joy waits in a corner,
hope searches for its song,
memory has its reason.
The child does not tire of playing,
the man does not tire of creating,
the condor does not tire of flying,
the people do not tire of fighting.
