Homem de Fé

There was in the past, a blessed man, who was Abraham
He was God-fearing, and God was pleased with this man
And God decided to test his faith, with the son he loved
God said to Abraham, get up in the morning, and offer Isaac to me

Then Isaac spoke to Abraham and said my father
Here is the fire and the wood, and where is the lamb?
Why are you worried my son, about this problem
I tell you now my son, God will provide the lamb

And arriving at the place, where God had told him, for the sacrifice
He built an altar, arranged the wood, and tied Isaac
And laid him on the wood, on the altar, Isaac stayed
Abraham looked up, to the sky, and trusted in his God

With the knife then, he raised his hands, to sacrifice
His heart hurt, something happened, and a voice he heard
And the angel said; Abraham, Abraham! Don't do this
I know you fear God, he looked behind him, and he saw the lamb
