When the Sun shone brightly
Penetrating into infinity
As the Ishmaelites passed by
From a grave, a scream is heard
It was Joseph who was shouting
His brothers did it
Potiphar bought the boy
Upon arriving in Egypt

But time went by
And the boy graduated
Gaining trust
He became governor
And gathering provisions
He placed it in barns
Seven years of plenty
And seven more of terror

It came after a few years
In countries, unforeseen events
And they had to go to Egypt to buy food
And Jacob sent his sons
Go shopping with great faith
I didn't know that the governor
It was his son Joseph

But Joseph saw the young men
He recognized them immediately
And after tough trials
He said: Do you know who I am?
I am that boy
Which you yourselves sold
They fell to the ground

As soon as he recognized them
Joseph said to them
I cried because I missed them so much!
But do not be afraid, my brothers!
Because I have forgiven you
Everything you did was a favor to me
Today here in Egypt, I am the governor
