I don't know why God's love
Revealed itself to me
Why, to me, the Savior
Redeemed me for Himself

But I know in whom I have believed
And I am quite certain that He is powerful
To guard my treasure until the final day

I don't know how the Spirit
Convinces us of evil
Reveals Christ, His Word
The real Comforter

I don't know what of good or evil
Is destined for me
If bad or golden days will come
Until the end of life?

I don't know when Jesus comes
If soon or late He comes
But I know that my Lord will come
In the glory He has
