Nassau, it's midnight
I take off the top, start the car
It's been years since it rained in the Bahamas
And today of all days, it decides to pour

Nassau, it's ten minutes to one
I put the top back on and the rain stops
I crack open a coconut, it's rotten inside
What am I doing here, why did I come?

This morning, my Hawaiian girlfriend left me
And I wonder, what the hell am I doing in the Bahamas?
My car breaks down, my girlfriend leaves me
I get dizzy when I go on the Ferris wheel
I'm not tan, I'm burnt
And the mosquitoes have eaten me alive

My back looks like a baboon's ass
The girl from the ad is nowhere to be found
Too much fuss about Caribbean lemons
And then you arrive and miraculously survive

I was so happy in Madrid
With my pineapple juice and my little gray house
My little place in Nava Cerrada
All the free time, never having to do anything
