Ao Deus de Abraão Louvai

Praise to the God of Abraham, from the vast sky, Lord
Eternal and mighty father and God of love
August Jehovah who created earth and sky
My soul will exalt the name of the great I am

Praise to the God of Abraham
Behold, by His command
My soul leaves the earth and goes to enjoy in heaven
I despised the world, its profit and its praise
And I took God as my portion, and protector

God will be my guide with His infinite love
He will make me happy in everything, wherever I go
He took me by my hand, gave me light in darkness
And gives me eternal redemption, my Jesus

My God swore by Himself, I trusted in Him
And to the heaven He prepared for me, I will ascend
In glory I will see Him, trusting in His love
And forever magnify my redeemer!
