My Heavenly Father, are you really there
Do you hear and answer a child's prayer
Someone told me that heaven is far away
But I feel so close to you when I pray
My Heavenly Father, I remember
What Jesus said to his disciples
Let the little ones come to me
Father in this prayer I come to you
Yes, he is close
Yes, he hears you
For he is your Father
And loves you very much
With tender love
He loves the children
For theirs is the kingdom
The kingdom of heaven
