At the foot of this plateau mountain
Bodocó asserted itself and grew
And today it is the highest highlight
In the erudite and plebeian scenario

Already counting some years of life
Since it emancipated by law
It is our beloved city
To whom we render our praise

The city always adolescent
With pride usually shows
Its intelligent youth
Who study and want to prosper

Its people are very orderly
Because here we only think about growing
And the example must be pioneering
Of progress and good living
