Cântico de Ana

My heart rejoices in the Lord
His power is lifted high in Him
My mouth opens wide against those who wish me harm
For I rejoice in Your salvation

There’s no one holy like You, oh Savior
I know there’s no one else besides You
No rock will stand like the great King
He is power, wisdom, and strength
For the bows of the strongest have been broken
And life He gives to all the faithful

It’s the Lord who takes life and gives it back
He brings down to the grave and raises up
He’s the one who makes us rich or poor, if He wants
He humbles and can also lift up

And for almost all of this, I’ve been through
I’ve gone down to the dust of the earth and returned
I’m weak, but now I feel a wealth within me
I was humbled, but God has lifted me up

With the princes, I will sit down
And inherit the throne of glory in heaven
With the saints, I will sing if I overcome here
The world and its illusion
But I feel by faith that beside me is
The just and mighty Lord
