Who wishes to know my story
Who wishes to keep this memory within
Prisoner in captivity, this is my life
But I disguise it with a smile, no one can perceive

In this cell, I cry and pray, it's my time to weep
Companions told me this time will pass
In this cell, everyone knows I am innocent
Even if they forget me here, I wait on the Lord

How long will this time last
Hurt and tired, waiting
So long in this cell, so many dreams I planned
I hope for the freedom to live as I dreamed
Even imprisoned, I waited for my victory
Always standing firm, awaiting my time
To be humble, to be sincere, I learned much more
I will live with God's glory, I will leave this cell
