Strong castle is our God
Defense and good sword
From anguish delivers from the heavens
Our troubled soul
Satan attacks
With skillful zeal
And knows how to fight
With unmatched strength and cunning
There is none like Him on earth

Without strength to fight
We would have lost
He fights for us and will win
Whom God has chosen
Who is the victor?
Jesus the Redeemer
The very Jehovah
For there is no other God
He will triumph in the battle

The world may come to attack
Thousands of furious demons
They can never frighten us
We will be victorious
The world's oppressor
With all his might
Is judged
Defeated he will fall
By just one word

The eternal Word will remain
We know for sure
And nothing will disturb us
With Christ as our defense
If they come to steal
Goods, life, and home
Let everything go!
It gives them no advantage
Heaven is our inheritance
