We are soldiers of Jesus
And champions of good, of light
In the armies of God
We battle for the skies
Singing, let's fight
Vile sin and its power
The battle is won
The victory God gives us

We will soon end the battle here
And forever rest with Jesus there
All who are faithful to the good Captain
They will receive laurels with the reward

Take the shield, yes, of faith
Because the battle is tough
But we have a promise
To never fight alone
The arrows of evil do not fear
But fight until you win
Look at the champions in the sky
Victory comes from God

If someone tired finds themselves
No strength to fight
The Lord wants to help you

Evil winning advances
And sing hymns to Jesus
And speak of salvation
