Thanks for the celestial blue
And for the clouds that are also there
For the roses on the path
And the thorns they have
For the darkness of the night
For the star that shone
For the answered prayer
And the hope that failed

For the cross and the suffering
And for the resurrection
For the love that is immeasurable
For the peace in the heart
For the shed tear
And the unmatched comfort
For the gift of eternal life
I will always give thanks!
