Em Fervente Oração

In fervent prayer, comes your heart
To pour out in God's presence
But you can't enjoy what you're asking for
Without abandoning everything on the altar

When everything is before the Lord
And all your being He controls
Only then will you see that the Lord has power
When you leave everything on the altar

The Lord will do wonders of love for you
Answering the prayer He accepts
His immense power will come to help you
When you leave everything on the altar

If you pray then, without your heart
Enjoying the peace that the Lord can give
And God didn't feel that your soul opened
Leaving everything, everything, on the altar
